My home country is at war. On February 24, 2022, Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, resulting in the destruction of hundreds of schools, hospitals, residential buildings, and energy infrastructure across Ukrainian cities, including my home city of Kharkiv. The war continues to cause casualties and displacement daily.
